Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. His career began with roles in television series, like Opposite Sex in the year 2000. His fame was boosted by his character as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans was also featured in film adaptations based on comic books, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). He gained wider recognition for his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). His role in the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the highest paid actors.
