Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco singer and pop artist. Since her teen years she's embraced the edges of traditional and popular music. She also plays with genres like hip-hop trap, and soul. Her voice has been called by no less of a talent than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet and with a bite that is similar to older versions. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was released in 2018, which has been a commercial and critical success. Following Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, received an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as an Latin Grammy nod. The track La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The set came out in the month of March 2022, following a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the program.
